The sea buckthorn is considered according to several studies that have seen the light of day, an importantally of our health.The nutrients and phytochemicals of the fruits of Sallow have a positive effect against inflammation, cancer or other diseases, although it still has not shown any benefit for people in clinical studies.
The fruit is high in vitamin C - 114 ?ως 1550 mg per 100 GR with an average content (695 mg per 100 gr) about 15 times more than orange (45 mg per 100 grams) - which classifies the Hippophaes richest sources of plants, vitamin C. The fruit is nevertheless rich in carotenoids , vitamin E, amino acids , minerals, beta-sitosterol and polyphenolic acids.
